Job Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a wedding or event planner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to lead and manage onsite wedding events
  • Experience collaborating with vendors and clients
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Attend final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to wedding
  • Lead and facilitate ceremony rehearsal on day prior to wedding
  • Serve as primary advocate for couple onsite, maintaining calm and solutions-focused presence
  • Oversee ceremony and reception setup according to event design and execution playbook
  • Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through final breakdown
  • Greet, direct, and act as main point of contact for all vendors
  • Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors
  • Coordinate placement of personal and event details including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor
  • Support wedding party and family members with guidance and timing cues
  • Ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed and accounted for
  • Proactively manage and resolve any day-of issues or last-minute changes
