Events dedicates itself to creating unforgettable experiences for couples embarking on one of the most important journeys of their lives - marriage. The company’s commitment to excellence and personalized service has positioned it as a trusted leader in the wedding planning industry, offering bespoke solutions tailored to each client’s unique desires and vision.
Operating with a nationwide footprint, Leigh & Co. Events prides itself on connecting highly skilled professionals with engaged couples in their local communities. With a focus on flexibility and client satisfaction, the company supports its planners with comprehensive training and innovative resources that empower them to deliver impeccable service from initial consultation through the big day. This approach allows the company to maintain high standards of quality while fostering a supportive environment for its employees and contractors.
The Lead Wedding Coordinator position at Leigh & Co. Events represents an exciting opportunity for experienced wedding planners or event coordinators who desire to elevate their career within a flourishing company. This role is contract-based, offering the flexibility to set your own working schedule, making it ideal for individuals seeking balanced work-life arrangements while doing something they are passionate about. The compensation for the Lead Wedding Coordinator ranges from $275 to $325 per project, covering 10 to 12 hours of work, which mainly involves the day-of coordination tasks.
As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will serve as the primary planner responsible for onsite wedding coordination. Your key responsibilities include partnering closely with the client experience managers during the planning phase and leading the assistant coordinators on the wedding day to ensure flawless execution. The role demands someone who is not only detail-oriented but also calm and solution-focused under pressure. You will act as the couple’s main advocate onsite, supporting them through any challenges that may arise and ensuring that vendors and guests alike have a smooth, seamless experience.
Your duties will encompass attending a final details call with clients about 6 weeks before the wedding to nail down logistics, timelines, and expectations. You will lead the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the event, guiding participants through timing, processional flow, and cues. On the wedding day, you will oversee setup for the ceremony and reception, manage vendor arrivals and coordination, and be the central point of contact for all involved. Additionally, you will assist in arranging personal and event details like escort cards, favors, and décor, and will support the wedding party with timing and other day-of needs. At the conclusion of the event, you are responsible for packing and accounting for all final items, ensuring nothing is left behind.
This role is essential for Leigh & Co. Events’ mission to deliver flawless weddings that exceed client expectations while maintaining a positive and professional event atmosphere. It's suited for individuals with at least two years of experience in wedding or event planning, strong communication skills, and a passion for detail-oriented logistical coordination. Reliable transportation and the ability to work weekends are required. This position promises a rewarding career path with ongoing opportunities for growth in the vibrant and ever-evolving wedding industry. If you are passionate about wedding planning and want to be part of an innovative team that values flexibility and professional development, Leigh & Co. Events encourages you to apply for the Lead Wedding Coordinator role for the upcoming 2026 season and beyond.
