Specializing in wedding design, coordination, and planning services, Leigh & Co. Events has quickly established itself as a trusted name among engaged couples seeking expert guidance and flawless execution for their special day. The company prides itself on delivering personalized, stress-free wedding experiences, working closely with clients to bring their unique visions to life while ensuring every detail is managed with care and precision. With an expanding footprint, the company is currently seeking lead wedding coordinators to join its team in Nashville for the 2026 season and beyond.
The Lead Wedding Coordinator role at Leigh & Co. Events is an exciting contract position ideal for individuals passionate about wedding planning and looking to develop their careers in this dynamic industry. This role offers the flexibility to pick your own schedule, making it perfect for those seeking autonomy while working on fulfilling projects. The position is paid per project at a rate of $300 for a commitment of approximately 10-12 hours, providing a great opportunity for seasoned planners or upcoming professionals to engage in meaningful work while maintaining a flexible lifestyle. Training is provided, ensuring all coordinators are equipped with the necessary skills and standards to deliver outstanding service.
As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will serve as the primary on-site planner for couples, helping to transform their wedding dreams into reality. You will collaborate closely with client experience managers during the planning phase and work alongside assistant coordinators on the wedding day to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities include attending final details calls with clients about six weeks before their wedding to confirm all arrangements, leading the ceremony rehearsal to guarantee everyone is confident with the timing and flow, and overseeing the entire wedding day from vendor arrivals to event breakdown. Success in this role requires a calm, solutions-oriented demeanor, excellent communication abilities, and great attention to detail, as you will be the couple’s advocate on their big day and a central figure in coordinating vendors and guiding the wedding party.
This position demands strong organizational skills and physical stamina, as it involves setting up event decor, coordinating with a variety of vendors, and supporting the wedding party throughout the celebration. Coordinators will manage important event elements including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and various decor pieces, making sure everything aligns perfectly with the event design. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring all end-of-event items such as gifts and personal decor are packed and accounted for before the event concludes. Handling last-minute changes and problem-solving under pressure are also essential components of this role to maintain a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
If you are an experienced wedding or event planner with a knack for detail and a passion for creating memorable celebrations, Leigh & Co. Events invites you to apply for this unique opportunity to become a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Nashville. Joining the team means becoming part of an innovative company dedicated to excellence, client satisfaction, and making magical wedding days come true. This contract role offers a rewarding blend of flexibility, competitive project-based pay, and the chance to work in a supportive and creative environment.
