Job Description

Hilton is a globally renowned hospitality company that stands as a symbol of exceptional guest experiences and world-class service. With a powerful presence around the world, Hilton operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts that cater to millions of travelers yearly, from luxury resorts and urban hotels to boutique properties and conference centers. Committed to a legacy of hospitality excellence, Hilton is consistently recognized for its outstanding workplace culture, dedication to team members, and a steadfast mission to deliver memorable stays for every guest. As a company that not only values its guests but also its employees, Hilton invests heavily in the professional and personal growth of its team through comprehensive benefits, training, and an inclusive, supportive environment.

This position focuses on the Sales and Revenue Generation role within Hilton's wedding and events division. The role is responsible for managing and expanding the hotel’s wedding and social events business. The ideal candidate will solicit, negotiate, and book ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, and various other social gatherings, ensuring seamless client interaction and maximum revenue growth. This includes generating new business through a variety of channels such as prospecting, networking, referrals, industry partnerships, bridal shows, and active community engagement. Prompt response to inquiries with timely and consistent follow-up is essential for maximizing conversion opportunities. In addition, this role involves conducting property tours and personalized consultations to provide a tailored experience for prospective clients. The role requires the creation and management of proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, and all related sales documentation. Negotiating pricing and contract terms within established guidelines is key to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Monitoring and maintaining accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline management through Hilton's customer relationship management systems is also a critical component.

In addition to Sales and Revenue Generation, the role encompasses Client Relationship Management. The individual will build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with engaged couples, wedding planners, vendors, and community partners. Serving as the primary contact from initial consultation through planning and event execution ensures that clients receive exceptional customer service and personalized attention expected at Hilton. Proactive and professional management of any client concerns plays a vital role in fostering satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. The role further entails detailed Event Planning and Coordination, collaborating across multiple hotel departments including Catering, Events, Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Operations to ensure successful event execution. Planning meetings and the communication of detailed client expectations help guarantee all logistics and event specifics are communicated and documented thoroughly. The individual is also required to participate in pre-convention and event meetings and support guest experience initiatives when needed.

The position actively contributes to Marketing and Business Development by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with wedding planners, photographers, florists, entertainment providers, wineries, and other key industry partners. The individual will represent the hotel at bridal expos, networking events, and community functions, partnering with Marketing to promote wedding packages, seasonal offerings, and special events. Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new revenue opportunities is vital for maintaining Hilton's competitive edge.

Administrative responsibilities include maintaining accurate client records, contracts, correspondence, and event documentation. Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports along with revenue forecasts ensures alignment with Hilton and hotel sales standards and procedures. Participation in departmental meetings, training programs, and revenue strategy discussions are expected for continuous professional development and departmental success.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in hotel sales, catering sales, wedding sales, or event management, ideally within luxury hotels, resorts, wineries, or destination wedding venues. Experience with Hilton’s systems and sales platforms is favored. Candidates must demonstrate proven abilities to meet and exceed revenue goals, coupled with strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent organizational and time management capabilities, are paramount. The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities, proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed are also essential.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during site tours and events, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds, and accommodating flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Hilton supports its Team Members with comprehensive benefits designed to foster wellbeing and professional growth. These include incredible travel perks, an employee stock purchase program, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources through an Employee Assistance Program, generous paid time off, and a variety of health and welfare benefits. Retirement plans and other financial security options provide peace of mind for the future. Hilton's award-winning workplace culture has earned global recognition, making it not only a great place to stay for guests but a great place to build a rewarding career.
