The role of Warehouse Supervisor at C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is essential within a fast-paced, fluid warehouse environment. This position requires exceptional leadership skills to optimize warehouse staff productivity while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations, which include managing activities related to product selection, loading, shipping, receiving, safety, sanitation, replenishment, and storage within diverse warehouse settings such as Grocery, Perishables, or Freezer environments. Operating under strict company policies, this role focuses on ensuring compliance, effective communication, and collaboration throughout the warehouse team.

This position offers shifts during the day (6am to 4:30pm) and night (6pm to 4:30am), with four days a week schedule, providing flexibility to suit different operational demands. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in managing a team of warehouse associates, guiding them through performance development plans, coaching, mentoring, and providing continuous feedback to enhance employee engagement and retention. The supervisor is also tasked with meeting key performance indicators related to safety, productivity, retention, budget, and quality, including managing shrink.

Beyond day-to-day oversight, the supervisor conducts safety, quality, shrink, and operational audits, instilling a culture of responsibility among team members. Investigating accidents in accordance with company guidelines is also a vital function of the role, requiring sound judgment and documentation skills. Physical demands include the ability to safely move merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds and to stand or walk for extended periods, typically 10 to 12 hours per shift. This position does not require travel.
