As part of its dedication to its employees’ well-being, the company offers a broad portfolio of benefits designed to support employees and their families, emphasizing a workplace where every individual's future can take root and grow.
The warehouse operator position is a key role within Land O'Lakes' Purina Animal Nutrition business unit, which serves animal producers and owners across the United States. This business unit is dedicated to innovating nutrition products and practices that enhance animal health and productivity. In this role, specifically working the third shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, you will be a vital member of the warehousing team responsible for crucial front-line operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of final products.
This position offers a competitive pay rate of $26.40 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Additionally, there is a substantial hiring bonus of $500 at 30 days and another $500 at 6 months, making this an attractive opportunity for those seeking steady employment with strong incentives. As a third shift warehouse operator, you will benefit from being home every day while contributing to the coordination of logistics processes that uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
Your daily responsibilities will include coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading products using forklifts, assisting with inventory cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas to maintain operational efficiency. This is a physically active role involving the use of forklifts and other machinery, requiring attention to safety and compliance with standard operating procedures. Successful forklift certification and a Class A Commercial Driver’s License are essential for this role, as is the ability to meet the physical demands of lifting up to 60 pounds and working in environments with varied temperatures and conditions.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are highly valued. Candidates with previous experience in warehousing, forklift operation, or commercial driving will find this position aligns well with their skills. However, the company also values a strong willingness to learn and adapt within its team-oriented culture.
Joining Land O'Lakes means becoming part of a cooperative that values its members and employees alike, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement. As a warehouse operator, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in logistics and warehouse management, all while playing an integral part in a company committed to a sustainable and innovative future.
