Job Description
Moove is a reputable company specializing in logistics and delivery services, committed to providing efficient and dependable transportation solutions. As a company focused on maintaining high standards in both warehousing and delivery operations, Moove seeks to enhance its team with dedicated professionals who value reliability and safety. Known for fostering a supportive work environment, Moove offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits to its employees, making it an attractive employer in the logistics sector.
Currently, Moove is hiring for the role of a Delivery Driver. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with an early start time of 6 am, and importantly offers the benefit of being home daily, appealing to those seeking work-life balance. The primary responsibilities include warehouse operations, ensuring that all goods are properly handled and prepared for delivery. Additionally, this role involves the operation of Class A commercial vehicles, adhering strictly to safety and Department of Transportation regulations, to deliver products efficiently to customers.
The Delivery Driver position requires the individual to be physically capable of lifting up to 65 pounds, reflecting the hands-on nature of the work. Beyond the physical tasks, candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as they interact directly with customers, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Attention to detail is crucial, as drivers are responsible for verifying orders, managing delivery documentation including cash on delivery (COD) transactions, and promptly communicating any customer messages or concerns to management.
Moove also emphasizes compliance and safety. Drivers must maintain a valid commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, keep their DOT medical card up-to-date, and ensure adherence to all company procedures. The ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is required if applicable. Moove prides itself on a culture of responsibility where employees operate with minimal supervision, yet always in line with company standards and policies.
To attract and retain qualified candidates, Moove offers a competitive starting salary with the additional incentive of a $1,000 sign-on bonus (note that this bonus does not apply to re-hires). Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a company-match 401k plan, paid time off and holiday pay, company-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage. To support the demands of the job, employees receive a company cell phone, uniforms, and a yearly allowance for work boots.
This role is ideal for those with at least one year of relevant experience, combining warehouse operations and delivery driving. Moove invites hardworking, responsible individuals with a high school diploma or GED who are ready to contribute to a thriving logistics company. This position promises not only the opportunity to grow professionally but also perks that support a strong work-life balance and employee well-being.
