Job Description

Atria Senior Living is a well-established company committed to creating welcoming communities where employees and residents alike can thrive. Specializing in senior living, Atria operates a family of brands that focus on delivering exceptional care and service to older adults residing in their communities. With a strong emphasis on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, Atria offers employees opportunities to grow their careers in a work setting that encourages advancement and promotes a healthy work-life balance.

At Atria, employees benefit from a comprehensive package of perks designed to support their wellbeing and professional development. These benefits include paid holidays and paid time off, with the added advantage of receiving annual anniversary rewards, which begin at $500 for full-time employees. Additionally, employees may be eligible for an Annual Scores Reward based on community survey results – $500 for full-time and $250 for part-time team members. The benefits package also includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, alongside a retirement savings plan featuring a 401(k) employer match. For U.S.-based communities, tuition reimbursement is available, further enhancing opportunities for career development. Enrollment in these benefits varies depending on employee classification, and anniversary reward amounts differ by location.

This job opening is for a part-time Waitstaff position within Atria's dynamic team. In this role, candidates will be essential in delivering high-quality dining experiences to residents, as well as supporting daily meal service and special events. The wage range for the position is $12.50 to $15.00 per hour, based on applicants’ prior work experience. The part-time nature of this role provides flexibility for individuals looking to balance their work and personal lives while gaining valuable experience in the senior living and hospitality sectors.

The Waitstaff position at Atria offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to join a company that values teamwork, prompt and courteous service, and a positive working environment. Employees are supported through on-the-job training where they are paid while they learn, so no prior experience is required. This role involves setting and clearing tables, taking dining orders, reviewing menus with residents, and assisting with meal preparation and cleanup. The goal is to create a warm and engaging atmosphere that enhances the dining experience for residents.

Candidates will also be entrusted with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas, including carpets, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment. Maintaining high sanitation standards is critical within the hospitality services at Atria, ensuring resident safety and satisfaction. Beyond task completion, the role centers on building strong and positive relationships with residents and colleagues, reflecting the community-oriented spirit that defines Atria Senior Living. The role is well suited for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, exhibit strong communication skills, and have a genuine interest in contributing to a community-focused service environment.

Atria Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer. It is committed to creating a diverse workforce and providing equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex including pregnancy, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected classifications under applicable law. Prospective employees can expect a respectful workplace where their contributions are valued and opportunities for career advancement are actively encouraged. This position is an excellent choice for candidates seeking a meaningful role in senior living hospitality with a supportive employer that invests in its team members' success and personal growth.
