The position available at CulinArt Sector is for an on-call Waiter/Waitress located at Park School Baltimore, situated at 2425 Old Court Road, Baltimore, MD 21209. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders and special requests are accommodated
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service period
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
  • work with staff from other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
