Unidine is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic waiters and waitresses to join their team at the MRC Mirador Retirement Community located at 5857 Timbergate Drive, Corpus Christi, TX. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, with hours and days that may vary to include holidays and weekends. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, reflecting a competitive wage for the position. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with prior front-of-house and dining experience who are passionate about hospitality and service. The role entails taking food and beverage orders and delivering them efficiently to dining room guests, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations, accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive and patient attitude with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up and clean before and after service
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
