Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining sanitation standards
  • Follow up to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • Accommodate reasonable requests and specialized diets, communicate with kitchen staff
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • Address guest complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
  • Prepare dining rooms before and after service periods
  • Operate various equipment such as coffee machines and iced tea dispensers
  • Work with staff from other departments during special events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
