Job Requirements

Fine dining or upscale restaurant server experience required
ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
able to work full-time schedule including varied days and hours
legal authorization to work in the United States
ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
availability to start immediately

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant serving
strong communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
excellent customer service skills
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
teamwork and flexibility
willingness to work varied shifts including evenings

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and advise guests on food and drink combinations
accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special request fulfillment
exhibit exceptional communication skills and teamwork
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
address guest complaints promptly and relay information to supervisor
ensure dining room setup before and after service periods
operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
collaborate with other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
