Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or waiter/waitress roles preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- capacity to handle cash transactions accurately
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to follow company policies and safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrates thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences
- demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicates effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
- collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment
- addresses guest complaints promptly and reports to supervisor
- sets up and cleans dining area before and after service
- operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs additional duties as assigned
