Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service preferred
- ability to work full-time or part-time shifts as scheduled
- strong verbal communication skills
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation rules
- ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism

- ability to work varied day shifts typically from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated
- advise guests on menu items and accommodate dietary needs and allergen information
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain cleanliness and setup of dining area before, during, and after service
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay them to supervisors
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee makers
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
