Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Maintain and apply culinary utensils, focusing on blades
  • Ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • Elevate the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
  • Assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking devices
  • Uphold all food safety requirements related to hygiene, handling, and storage
  • Comply with uniform regulations
  • Coordinate daily with the manager on menu planning
  • Ensure proper food temperature monitoring
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • Sanitize work areas including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, including support in other kitchen departments
