The Waiter role at Aramark is an essential position focused on supporting the daily food service operations within the organization. This role involves a range of responsibilities centered on food preparation, meal serving, sanitation, and accurate record-keeping to ensure the highest standards are maintained. The Waiter works closely with managers to follow predetermined menus and prepare top-quality food and pastries while ensuring that meal components are correctly included. Monitoring cash receipts and producing daily reports that accurately reflect transactions and meal planning are also key aspects of the job.

In addition to food preparation and cleaning duties, the Waiter must also maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards, including keeping work and storage areas organized and disinfected. Handling kitchen utensils responsibly, especially blades, is crucial for safety and functionality. The role demands a keen attention to detail in maintaining food storage to prevent contamination and spoilage and ensuring food is served at the correct temperature to guarantee customer satisfaction. Adherence to uniform policies and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required further support the company’s commitment to safety.

Physical demands of the position include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, making it important for the Waiter to be physically able to meet these challenges.   • Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
  • Perform additional duties in other kitchen departments as required
