Job Requirements
- Food service certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work under pressure
- Compliance with uniform policy
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
- Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
- Compile daily reports ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- Understand meal components to confirm their inclusion
- Store food properly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Serve food to patrons following scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- Maintain and apply culinary utensils, focusing on blades
- Ensure prompt preparation of food items and beverages
- Enhance visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- Assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and kitchen devices
- Uphold food safety standards including hygiene and storage protocols
- Comply with uniform policy at all times
- Coordinate daily menu planning with the manager
- Monitor food temperatures during storage and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- Keep work areas clean and disinfected including steam tables and countertops
- Perform general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- Perform additional tasks and assist other kitchen departments as required
