The role of Wait Staff Non-Tipped at Sodexo’s UNITED CLUB location in Austin, Texas, is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $22.80. This role involves providing high-quality customer service within a dynamic dining environment. The Wait Staff Non-Tipped professional will interact directly with guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience by serving made-fresh-to-order entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, offering knowledgeable recommendations, and accurately taking and relaying orders to the kitchen. Staff will also ensure that each dish’s presentation is appetizing and meets quality standards, promptly responding to guest requests and concerns with professionalism.

This position requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, often exceeding eight hours per shift, and includes physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. The employee must also have the capability to perform repetitive motions and possess a keen sense of taste and smell to uphold service standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience with 0 to 1 year of related experience. Additionally, the position may require the individual to meet age requirements for alcohol service based on local laws and obtain certifications such as TIPS or TEAM for responsible alcohol management. Job Requirements
