This position is for a Vice President of Operations (VPO) dedicated to the Philadelphia Market. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, the VPO will oversee the operation of multiple accounts or a significant multi-site account that typically generates revenue exceeding $100 million. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong operational, strategic, and team management skills to drive significant business outcomes.
The VPO will be responsible for uniting diverse teams under a common growth and operational platform aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, increasing revenue, improving profit margins, and ensuring client retention across the portfolio. The role demands continuous innovation and creativity in expanding client services while maintaining operational excellence. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, human resources, marketing, supply chain, and compliance, as well as external partners, the VPO will foster relationships that support business growth and operational success.
A key part of this role involves developing and maintaining strategic priorities for the area’s operations. The VPO will lead efforts to design, develop, and execute operational strategies that align with company goals and deliver measurable outcomes efficiently and cost-effectively. Managing full profit and loss responsibility along with sales, finance, human resources, and customer service functions will be critical to success.
Leadership is a cornerstone of the position. The VPO will lead and motivate a highly productive team through empowered communication, coaching, and performance recognition. Leading change and implementing new business processes by working with business unit leaders and key stakeholders is essential to continuously evolve the organization and improve service delivery. The role requires a strategic thinker with a balanced perspective on broad business issues and the tactical ability to manage multiple projects, often remotely across a dispersed organizational structure.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of complex, large-scale business operations and have strong business planning and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities are required to effectively engage with a wide range of audiences, from frontline managers to C-level executives. The VPO role at Aramark presents a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment dedicated to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
