The Storeroom Manager at voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort holds a vital position focused on the efficient management and organization of essential supplies including food, beverage, and select non-food items, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel’s day-to-day functions. This role is critical in maintaining an organized storeroom that guarantees timely availability of inventory to various departments, enabling seamless service delivery. The Storeroom Manager oversees the adherence to internal policies, legal guidelines, and company standard operating procedures related to inventory management. They supervise storeroom personnel, provide necessary training, and ensure all practices comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards such as HACCP. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the maintenance of storeroom cleanliness, proper storage techniques like FIFO, and controls delivery schedules and dock protocols to optimize supply flow. This position demands keen attention to documentation, inventory records, and coordination with other hotel departments including Engineering for maintenance needs. The role offers flexibility with varied working hours to accommodate hotel operations and emphasizes strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Job Duties

  • Adheres to internal policies, legal requirements, and company SOPs for storeroom operations including inventory requisition and management
  • Maintains and supervises storerooms for food, beverage, and select non-food items ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper storage techniques such as FIFO and temperature control
  • Trains and supervises storeroom staff in alignment with job descriptions and standards
  • Implements and enforces control procedures for goods entering storage overseeing receiving, issuing, and rotation of products and enforces delivery schedules and dock rules
  • Follows HACCP, health, and safety guidelines maintaining bodily hygiene standards and ensures proper cleaning and waste management including hazardous products
  • Records relevant information in logbooks, documents maintenance needs, follows cleaning schedules, and submits work orders to Engineering
  • Attends required meetings or delegates and performs tasks as assigned by supervisors or the Finance Department
