Job Description
voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort Port St. Lucie is a distinguished hospitality establishment nestled along the picturesque St. Lucie River. This resort offers guests a harmonious blend of a relaxed coastal atmosphere and the vibrant energy of a full-service, all-inclusive property. With its sprawling rooms and suites, multiple pools, diverse dining venues, and a plethora of recreational activities ranging from fitness classes to water sports and live entertainment, it creates an immersive vacation experience. The resort caters to a wide variety of guests, including families, business travelers, and groups, ensuring every need is met with exceptional service. Positioned near popular attractions like PGA Village and Jensen Beach, the resort serves as a prime destination for guests seeking both relaxation and adventure amidst Florida’s natural beauty. Team members at voco Sandpiper play a crucial role in supporting this dynamic environment, contributing to the memorable experiences that guests cherish.
As a Sales Manager, you occupy a pivotal position that directly influences the resort’s success. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by securing new business accounts, fostering enduring client relationships, and championing the resort’s offerings across various segments including leisure, SMERF (social, military, education, religious, fraternal), business travel, and groups. Collaborating closely with the Director of Sales, your strategic outreach and relationship-building efforts will be fundamental in positioning the hotel as a preferred choice within the competitive hospitality market. This role requires a combination of proactive salesmanship, excellent communication, and an in-depth understanding of market trends to ensure continuous capture of emerging business opportunities.
Embracing the responsibilities of an overtime eligible manager (OEM), you are expected to fully engage with your role, recognizing that overtime is applicable and properly calculated. Your duties extend beyond mere sales targets; they include maintaining a visible and professional presence within the local community and industry organizations, ensuring adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards and regulatory policies. Moreover, you must develop operational expertise by familiarizing yourself with internal hotel policies and actively participating in meetings, promotions, and special events. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive on variety, leadership opportunities, and making a significant impact on the resort’s growth and reputation.
Compensation for this position includes eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package following an initial waiting period. Benefits encompass medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income protection, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, the resort offers an innovative daily pay option, a unique perk designed to support employee financial well-being. Joining voco Sandpiper as a Sales Manager means becoming part of a vibrant, activity-rich environment where you can contribute to meaningful guest experiences while advancing your professional career in hospitality sales.
