The role of Sales Manager at voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort is crucial to the ongoing success and growth of the hotel. As a key leadership figure, you will be central to energizing the hotel's sales efforts by securing new accounts, nurturing lasting relationships, and driving revenue growth across multiple market segments including leisure, SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal), business travel, and group bookings. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will contribute directly to positioning the hotel as a premier destination in the region.
This position is classified as an Overtime Eligible Manager (OEM), and overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly. You will be challenged to exceed assigned sales and revenue goals, utilizing a proactive and strategic approach in solicitation calls and client engagements. Your role will demand excellent communication and negotiation skills, alongside the ability to independently multitask and manage a busy sales pipeline.
You will represent the hotel with professionalism and integrity within the local community and industry organizations while maintaining adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality's rigorous standards, sales metrics, and company policies. Cultivating deep operational knowledge of hotel policies and functions, you will serve as a trusted steward with access to sensitive areas and play an active role in hotel meetings, promotions, and special functions.
Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with hotel sales experience considered an advantage. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational capabilities are essential for managing the diverse demands of this role. Additionally, a valid driver's license is required to facilitate client visits and outreach activities.
