The VIP Server position at Legends Global within the Food and Beverage department is a part-time, hourly role reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to VIP guests attending events at the Boeing Center at Tech Port. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service skills. The VIP Server will be responsible for not only serving guests but also supporting the overall planning, organization, and management of events, ensuring all client needs are met seamlessly. The position demands an individual who can work independently, exercise leadership in guiding temporary staff during events, and maintain a positive, service-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities include preparing and setting up for events, assisting with side work such as replenishing dining essentials and collecting banquet equipment, and managing guest inquiries or concerns efficiently by escalating them appropriately. Working conditions vary and involve exposure to elements such as heat, noise, and the physical demands of extended standing and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work schedule necessitates flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must also possess certifications such as TABC and Texas Food Handlers, and have significant prior experience in food service environments, demonstrating capability in serving discerning clients and handling high-pressure situations with composure.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must be TABC and Texas Food Handlers certified
- 5 years food service or restaurant experience
- minimum 21 years of age
- strong orientation to customer service
- results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals
- excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks

- must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers

Job Duties
- Provides guest with exceptional, professional, and attentive food and beverage service within
- assist with the preparation and set-up
- report any guest concerns and/or complaints to Food and Beverage Manager
- provide guidance and support to the temporary staff assigned to an event
- assist in any and all side work including cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, and creamers
- collecting banquet equipment such as flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces
- preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and bread
- other duties as assigned
