The University of Montana is currently seeking a full-time Video Coordinator to join its Athletics Department with a salary of $21.61 hourly. This hourly staff position, classified under the Media Technician compensation title, requires a committed professional ready to contribute to the football program's success. The Video Coordinator will manage all facets of video operations related to the football team, including the procurement, installation, maintenance, inventory, security, and operation of all football video equipment, hardware, and software. This role is critical to supporting the coaching staff by providing timely and accurate video materials that assist in coaching, scouting, recruiting, and player development.

The Video Coordinator is responsible for filming, editing, processing, and archiving football-related video content, ensuring that high-quality footage is delivered efficiently. They will also support daily operations by managing film exchanges with opposing teams, maintaining video systems, and providing technical support. A significant part of the role is supervising and training student assistants, team managers, and interns who participate in football video operations, ensuring all parties are proficient in handling video technology and meet the program's standards.

The role requires staying current with emerging video technologies, software advancements, and policy changes to continuously improve the football program's effectiveness. This position operates on a full-time basis with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, year-round. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills.

This position falls under the FOCUS-MFPE bargaining unit and includes a probationary period of six months minimum.
