Job Description

FOX Entertainment is a globally recognized media powerhouse with nearly 40 years of impactful legacy in the entertainment industry. It stands as one of the world’s most iconic media brands, distinguished by its innovative and independent spirit that drives bold storytelling across multiple platform formats including broadcast, streaming, digital, and emerging technologies. The company’s business model embraces a platform- and format-agnostic approach designed to develop, test, and scale intellectual property worldwide. This ensures FOX Entertainment remains at the forefront of evolving media consumption trends and audience engagement.

FOX Entertainment is structured into three core business units: the FOX Television Network, FOX Entertainment Studios, and FOX Entertainment Global. The FOX Television Network serves as the flagship linear television platform and has formed valuable streaming partnerships with Hulu and FOX One. It delivers popular series such as The Simpsons, The Masked Singer, Doc, Memory of a Killer, and Hell’s Kitchen, among others. FOX Entertainment Studios is the in-house production hub responsible for a diverse slate of scripted and unscripted content including Animal Control, Best Medicine, and The Way Home. It also encompasses Bento Box Entertainment for animated programming like Hazbin Hotel, Studio Ramsay Global with acclaimed culinary shows, and the entertainment studio TMZ. The company’s independent film label, Tideline, further underscores its commitment to diverse storytelling. FOX Entertainment Global manages worldwide content sales and distribution, amplifying FOX’s reach across international markets.

A key part of FOX Entertainment’s evolution is expanding its digital storytelling ecosystem, making strategic investments in vertical video formats, experiential storytelling, podcasting, creator-led content, and content collaboration with established publishing partners like HarperCollins. These initiatives enable the company to nurture emergent storytelling methods and develop premium franchises that resonate across broadcast, streaming, and global platforms.

The Vice President of Technical Event Operations is a pivotal leadership role within the FOX Experience + Design (FED) team. This team is dedicated to amplifying brand engagement through best-in-class experiential events that connect viewers and clients to FOX’s diverse business segments including FOX Sports, Tubi Media, FOX News, and FOX Corporate. The FED team integrates strategic planning, creative design, and production technology to deliver exceptional event experiences.

The Vice President will steer the operational oversight of production services supporting on-site and off-site live events, studio productions, executive presentations, and special projects. This role acts as a critical liaison between technical production personnel, event planners, creative directors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment of resources, facilities, and technologies. A major responsibility will be to lead the technical production team while maintaining high standards of client service and operational efficiency.

This role demands strong leadership with a robust understanding of production technologies and workflows, alongside a strategic mindset to develop cost-saving initiatives and standard operational procedures. On-site presence is mandatory for at least four days per week to directly manage production operations and coordinate with stakeholders. The Vice President will also manage detailed technical budgets, oversee freelance payroll, and maintain comprehensive documentation that supports forecast accuracy and resource allocation.

Successful candidates will bring over 12 years of experience in technical operations related to event services, studio management, or broadcast environments. They will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while engaging effectively with senior executives and clients. Proficiency in audiovisual systems, streaming platforms, and event operations is essential, coupled with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

FOX Entertainment offers a competitive salary range of $179,000 to $275,000 annually, commensurate with education, skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more, with benefits also available under applicable collective bargaining agreements. As an equal opportunity employer, FOX welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including those with criminal histories consistent with applicable law.
