This role focuses on helping residents live an active, engaged, and fulfilling life through the planning and execution of diverse programming that addresses spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional needs. Vibrant Living Assistants get to know the residents personally, helping to tailor activities that spark joy and connection within the community. They support events by promoting and communicating upcoming activities, participating in and organizing games, music, art, and other creative engagements. The role also involves utilizing communication channels like social media, email, and newsletters to highlight daily community happenings, enriching the experience for residents and their families. Those over 21 may have the responsibility of driving company vehicles to transport residents safely to and from events. The position demands enthusiasm, creativity, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping seniors enjoy a vibrant lifestyle. Brightview offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.50 to $22.50, with compensation reflecting experience and qualifications, along with a robust benefits package. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in healthcare, hospitality, activities, event planning or recreation preferred
  • active driver’s license in good standing
  • ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
  • age 21 or over preferred for driving responsibilities
  • ability to participate in physical activities
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • quickly connect with people and love to learn about them
  • use talents such as singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia in programming
  • exercise creativity and bring innovative ideas to activities
  • maintain a positive attitude and high energy
  • hold an active driver’s license in good standing

Job Duties

  • get to know the residents and help plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming
  • promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities
  • participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music and help organize and run these events
  • utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily community happenings
  • occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events
  • help set up and break down events and activities
