Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years prior experience in the audio visual or hospitality industry
  • Two years advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment
  • Strong technical aptitude including audio visual equipment set up strike and operation
  • Planning ability able to plan and prioritize
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal listening and written communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong team player orientation
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office networking IT device management PC and Mac operations
  • Must be proficient with PowerPoint Keynote and internet usage

Job Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude in AV equipment set up strike and operation
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal verbal listening and written communication skills
  • Proficient with basic computer skills including MS Office PowerPoint Keynote and internet usage
  • Team player orientation

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily floor operation including set and strike of equipment for each event
  • Supervise non-union union and contract labor to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Operate equipment during live shows as needed
  • Greet guests and clients before events providing instructions on equipment use
  • Maintain continued communication with clients to ensure event success
  • Complete flow sheets schedule and purchase orders for equipment delivery and labor
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
  • Enforce company security and safety measures
  • Update and improve technical skills continuously
  • Maintain accurate client event information in billing and event order systems
  • Review invoice with client and obtain signature on invoice and add-ons
  • Manage venue inventory ensuring security of equipment
  • Report any lost stolen or damaged equipment to supervisor immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness organization and company standards in occupied areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
