Job Description
Moss Denver is a distinguished and sought-after wedding and event venue located in the vibrant heart of the Santa Fe Art District in Denver, Colorado. Known for its urban industrial aesthetic and unique architectural design, Moss provides a stunning backdrop where couples, companies, and creatives bring their boldest visions to life. This venue is not just a space but an experience that combines style, sophistication, and a welcoming ambiance to create memorable celebrations and events. With a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality service and exceptional client care, Moss Denver has established itself as a premier destination for weddings, corporate gatherings, and creative events throughout the city.
The Venue Manager role at Moss Denver is an exciting opportunity for individuals early in their sales career who are passionate about building relationships and guiding clients through every stage of their event journey. This full-time, on-site position focuses on sales and client management, ensuring that every potential client is warmly welcomed, thoroughly informed, and fully supported from their initial inquiry through to contract signing and ultimately their successful event day. Unlike many traditional venue roles, this position emphasizes the sales process and relationship-building rather than event-day execution, as Event Managers handle the actual events.
Ideal candidates are eager to learn and grow within the sales field, showing a strong appetite for mentorship and a desire to contribute to a vibrant, creative team. The Venue Manager serves as the face of Moss, responsible for converting tours into bookings by making clients feel cared for and confident throughout their planning experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the venue’s reputation and ensuring that all clients feel supported and valued. With a competitive compensation package of $50,000 to $60,000 total, combining base salary and commission, this role offers the chance to build your career while making a significant impact. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client tours is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple clients and details with organization and care.
Joining Moss Denver means becoming part of a small but ambitious team that values creativity, ownership, and professional development. It’s a rare opportunity to grow in a mentorship-rich environment within one of Denver’s most beautiful and design-forward event spaces. The role is perfectly suited for someone ready to embrace a challenge, sharpen their sales craft, and develop long-lasting client relationships in a dynamic and rewarding setting.
