Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- valid state-issued driver’s license
- clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points in the last three years
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to operate a manual transmission
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- must possess or obtain a DOT Medical Card within 28 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Class B CDL preferred
- additional state-specific endorsements may apply (e.g., Illinois Class C, Indiana “For Hire,” Louisiana Chauffeur’s License, Mississippi Class D Commercial)
- Clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points in the last three years
- 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of delivery driving experience or CarMax experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate a manual transmission, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must possess or obtain a DOT Medical Card within 28 days of hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with adherence to CarMax policies and safety standards
Job Duties
- Operate a two-car hauler to deliver vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load, transport, and unload vehicles at designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Facilitate home delivery transactions, including paperwork and customer handoff
- Provide outstanding customer service, interacting with customers and team members professionally
- Perform condition checks and verify vehicles meet CarMax cosmetic standards before delivery
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to maintain safety and operational excellence
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with company requirements
