The Veggie Blend Mixer (VBM) role is an essential part of the Ajinomoto Foods production team focused on processing frozen vegetables to maintain supply quality and consistency. This full-time position requires working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with rotating start times typically between 4:15 AM and 6:00 AM and occasional afternoon shifts starting at 12:30 PM. The starting pay rate for the Veggie Blend Mixer is $17.50 per hour, reflecting the company's valuation of skilled labor and operational excellence. Job Duties
- Provide support for the manufacturing processes of different lines
- obtain vegetables, beef, onion, and other items from freezers or cooler
- weigh vegetables and various proteins into batches to be mixed or cooked and provided to the lines
- keep various work areas clean and organized as per company Good Housekeeping Procedures
- assist in equipment set up during Start-Up and disassembling of equipment at the end of the production day
- operate production equipment including Veggie Mixer, Watanabe, and Urshel Slicer as needed
- follow the Verification Process by verifying all ingredients pulled before using
- understand and comply with all necessary paperwork and production flowcharts critical to manufacturing, mixing, and weighing
- apply warehouse and logistical Standard Operating Procedures, especially for Additional Materials and Returns
- maintain good control of ingredients and balance using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
- read and comprehend production schedules and documentation
- may require EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) and/or HACCP Monitor certification
