The available role focuses on Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) leadership and Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation within the construction process. This permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $172,000 per year, with additional bonus and travel incentives included. The successful candidate will lead the VDC and BIM efforts from preconstruction through project completion, guiding the development and management of project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). Key responsibilities include coordination of federated models spanning architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, facilitating clash detection and constructability review sessions, and partnering closely with project management as well as field leadership teams to enhance project planning and execution effectiveness. This role demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to mentor junior VDC staff and drive innovation within the team. Job Requirements

  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in BIM software including Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile construction projects
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Eligibility to work permanently in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), or construction technology leadership
  • Proven experience supporting complex commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, life sciences, or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and related coordination software
  • Experience leading model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and BIM execution planning
  • Ability to collaborate with project managers, superintendents, design teams, and trade partners
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
  • Experience mentoring junior VDC professionals and improving project delivery processes

Job Duties

  • Lead VDC and BIM implementation from preconstruction through project completion
