Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months of experience in a dry-cleaning operation and/or high-volume laundry operation preferred
  • Ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate pressing techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests
  • Must be guest-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be guest-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Press and finish guest garments and hotel linens according to established standards
  • Handle delicate fabrics with care, ensuring proper temperature and technique
  • Inspect items for stains, damage, or special instructions before pressing
  • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests or delivering items
  • Ensure timely return of garments to meet guest expectations
  • Operate and maintain pressing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area
  • Verify that all items meet hotel standards before delivery
  • Follow proper tagging and tracking procedures to prevent loss or mix-ups
