The current job opening is for a part-time concierge/guest services representative, a role that is integral to ensuring positive first impressions and sustained resident satisfaction. This customer service-driven position requires an outgoing, friendly individual who enjoys interacting with people and effectively managing their needs. The role involves greeting residents and guests upon their arrival and departure, assisting with baggage, package, grocery handling, parking, and providing valuable information related to property services and local amenities. The position involves maintaining the readiness of equipment, handling inquiries about hotel services and local recommendations, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

The concierge plays a pivotal role in addressing the needs of residents, providing concierge services as required, and resolving any issues or complaints promptly to enhance resident experience. The work schedule is part-time, specifically weekends from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Compensation is $18 per hour, reflective of the importance of customer interaction and operational support expected in this role. The job requires the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods, as well as operating in various environmental conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • valid Florida driver license
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • previous similar experience preferred
  • heavy lifting required (baggage handling), ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work in different environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain)
  • ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
  • reach with hands and arms
  • ability to communicate, receive, and exchange ideas by spoken and written word
  • ability to navigate property/building quickly and easily
  • ability to complete required forms
  • ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends
  • ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the needs of arriving and departing residents
  • greet and assist residents and guests with baggage and package handling
  • answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • maintain equipment in working condition and report any maintenance issue for repair
  • resolve and follow up on all complaints/issues
  • follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • may also be asked to fulfill concierge duties
  • other duties as required
