Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to provide customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and small groups
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work second shift, weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple correspondence and instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, clients and employees
- Ability to perform basic math including money calculations
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate manual transmissions and perform parallel parking is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using proper salutations and guest last names
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while assisting guests with luggage and bell services
- Provide directions, reservations, and information about local amenities and main attractions
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue and collect claim checks, and maintain accurate ticket information
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
