Towne Park fosters a positive work environment where employees have the opportunity to make a tangible difference and develop rewarding careers in the hospitality industry.
Towne Park is currently seeking Valet Drivers to join their team at the Blossom Hotel Houston. This position offers a unique chance to work in the hospitality field, providing exceptional guest service by safely transporting and parking vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience. The role requires a commitment to safety, professionalism, and friendliness, with an emphasis on creating memorable interactions. The work schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for night shifts. Compensation for this role starts at $10 per hour with additional daily cash tips estimated to range from $16 to $18 per hour, making it a financially rewarding position.
The Valet Driver role includes responsibilities such as greeting guests warmly within five feet, using guest last names to personalize interactions, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. You will be expected to park and retrieve guest vehicles cautiously, assist guests with their luggage, and provide information about the hotel and local area. An important aspect of the role involves managing parking tickets, collecting fees when necessary, and ensuring the security and accuracy of all ticket information throughout the valet system.
Employees benefit from access to medical benefits, including accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine. Additionally, Towne Park offers a 401k retirement savings plan, empowering employees to save for their future. Eligibility for benefits depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Towne Park accommodates employees with disabilities, providing reasonable accommodations to help them perform essential job functions.
Working as a Towne Park Valet Driver means working primarily outdoors for extended periods, often in extreme weather conditions, and requires physical stamina. The role demands lifting and moving luggage and the ability to occasionally exert significant force when managing vehicles and guest belongings. Experience is not required, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in hospitality or transportation services.
This position demands strong communication skills, the ability to follow procedures, and a customer-first mindset.
