The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest relations and operational excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month of related experience or training
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday including overnight shifts
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina such as walking, standing, kneeling and climbing
  • Willingness to follow established practices and procedures
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and main area attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
  • Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicle
