The role of Valet Attendant at Mercy Southeast Cancer Center is a vital part of the patient and visitor experience. This position involves welcoming all individuals entering and leaving the facility, providing assistance as needed to ensure a seamless visit. Valet Attendants are responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting patients to and from their cars, including helping with wheelchairs, and escorting them to their appointment locations. This role typically involves parking an average of 30 to 35 vehicles per day and requires flexibility to work PRN (as needed) day shifts, specifically Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:45 am to 2:00 pm, with opportunities for additional shifts. The position is well-suited to motivated individuals who excel in customer service and communication and who enjoy working in a dynamic environment that supports patient care from the moment they arrive at the facility.
