The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park offers more than just a job; it is a career opportunity where individuals can make a meaningful impact every day. As a Guest Service Associate, the individual will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage services, and providing guests with information about the facility and local attractions. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly base pay of $17, plus tips, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Towne Park provides employees access to a variety of benefits including accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility. Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma or GED, hold a valid driver's license for the applicable state, and preferably have prior experience or training in a related role. The ability to operate vehicles safely, assist guests politely, and communicate effectively is essential.

Working as a Guest Service Associate also involves adhering to company guidelines and operational procedures to maintain service quality while promoting a safe environment. This role requires physical activity, including standing and walking for extended periods, operating vehicles cautiously, assisting guests with luggage and providing directions or shuttle services. The work environment predominantly includes outdoor conditions that may expose associates to varying weather, including heat and cold, and the role may occasionally require travel up to 5%. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic and time calculations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles by driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage, opening vehicle and hotel doors
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi services, reservations and information about amenities and local attractions
  • Explain parking rates, issue and collect claim checks, complete ticket information, and calculate and collect revenue when needed
