Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic and time calculations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English language
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with units of American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles by driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage, opening vehicle and hotel doors
- Provide guests with directions, taxi services, reservations and information about amenities and local attractions
- Explain parking rates, issue and collect claim checks, complete ticket information, and calculate and collect revenue when needed
