Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for state of work or commutable distance
- One month related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates and times
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Willingness to work Monday through Sunday schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
- One month related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Post in designated areas when not busy
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag guest folio location of vehicle damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
