For the Guest Service Associate position, the hourly base pay is $12 per hour plus tips. The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is integral to the delivery of top-tier hospitality services. The associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, assisting guests with their luggage, and facilitating other guest needs such as directions, reservations, and local information. Key responsibilities include managing vehicle parking logistics, issuing and collecting claim checks, calculating and collecting parking fees, and maintaining accurate records related to vehicle and guest interactions. The Guest Service Associate must adhere to safety protocols while driving and handling vehicles, ensuring guest property is respected and protected. The job involves physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability for on-call work schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10’s and 100’s and use units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
