Job Description
Towne Park is a respected leader in the parking and hospitality services industry, dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences through its comprehensive parking management solutions. Known for its commitment to operational excellence, Towne Park operates in multiple locations nationwide, serving a diverse range of clients including airports, hotels, shopping centers, and event venues. The company fosters a culture centered around safety, professionalism, and guest satisfaction, making it a standout employer in the service sector. Employees at Towne Park benefit from a dynamic work environment where teamwork and respect are prioritized, and development opportunities are available to those who demonstrate dedication and a customer-focused mindset. This inclusive and customer-driven atmosphere makes Towne Park a preferred employer for individuals looking to build a career in hospitality and parking services.
The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is an essential role designed to deliver outstanding hospitality services to guests by ensuring their parking and related needs are met with efficiency, courtesy, and safety. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly while prioritizing safety, assisting with guest luggage during arrivals and departures, and providing helpful and friendly customer service. This role demands a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, as associates are expected to engage guests warmly, use their last names when addressing them, and offer assistance with directions, reservations, and information about local amenities and attractions.
This position offers an hourly wage starting at $16.90 plus tips, with an additional $2.25 shift differential for overnight shifts, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive and fair compensation. The work schedule spans Monday through Sunday, offering flexibility but also requiring availability during various shifts. Employees gain access to a range of benefits including enrollment in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility based on employment classification, length of service, and hours worked. However, seasonal and temporary roles are excluded from these benefits.
In performing the Guest Service Associate duties, you will maintain a friendly, professional demeanor, greet guests within five feet warmly, provide information about the facility and area attractions, and ensure the smooth operation of parking and valet systems by handling claim checks and vehicle documentation meticulously. Physical demands include standing or sitting for extended periods, occasional running and walking, and assisting guests by lifting luggage up to certain weights. You will often work outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions, making physical stamina and adaptability important attributes for this job.
Towne Park values employees who can operate manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking, enhancing operational efficiency. The role requires some decision-making authority within established protocols and emphasizes accuracy and customer service excellence. The position involves minimal travel, up to five percent, primarily for training or operational meetings. Overall, this role is ideal for those motivated by guest service excellence, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
