The Valet Attendant role at Heritage Hotels & Resorts is a vital frontline position responsible for shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure. This role requires an individual who is personable, attentive, and organized, capable of making guests feel welcome with a warm, professional demeanor. As the first and last personal contact guests have at the property, Valet Attendants serve an essential function in creating a positive and seamless experience. The position involves safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles following strict safety and security procedures, assisting guests with luggage during check-in and check-out, and offering knowledgeable recommendations on hotel amenities, outlets, nearby attractions, and events. Valet Attendants must maintain an awareness of guest flow to ensure prompt and efficient service and must work collaboratively with various hotel departments including Front Office and Security. The role also requires adherence to uniform and grooming standards, upkeep of the hotel’s parking and entrance areas, and the protection of company assets and guest confidentiality. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 19
- Preferably 2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
- Current New Mexico driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast paced guest-facing environment
- Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to support guest experience

Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the property and provide assistance in and out of vehicles
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in accordance with company safety and security procedures
- Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out, ensuring careful handling and professional service
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding hotel outlets, amenities, events and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain knowledge of ADA parking procedures and all safety and security protocols
- Communicate and partner with Front Office, Security and other departments as needed to support guest needs
- Maintain awareness of guest flow and arrival patterns to ensure efficient and organized service
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct in accordance with uniform and grooming standards
- Ensure the hotel's driveway, porte-cochere, and parking area are kept clean and tidy
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client and guest information
- Other duties as assigned with the functions of this position as needed at the property
