Job Description
Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader in the hospitality-focused parking services industry, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. PMC specializes in providing top-tier valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking coordination, and porter/bell services across a diverse range of sectors such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues. The company is dedicated to enhancing the guest experience by integrating parking management seamlessly with hospitality operations, thereby elevating service standards and ensuring a high-touch, guest-first approach. PMC prides itself on being an extension of its partners' hospitality teams, committed to operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement across all service areas.
As a Valet Account Manager at PMC, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of assigned locations with the primary aim of delivering exceptional guest service, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving strong financial outcomes. This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary with potential bonus opportunities, which vary based on market and experience. Reporting directly to the City Manager or Area Manager, you will oversee valet teams, foster strong client relationships, and ensure that each property meets contractual obligations while maintaining the highest service standards.
The Valet Account Manager position requires a dynamic leader who can expertly manage staff development, scheduling, financial oversight including payroll, and quality assurance across multiple sites if necessary. You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, and coaching of hourly associates, as well as cultivating a positive and professional work environment that supports employee engagement and drives customer satisfaction. In addition, you will conduct regular site visits to identify operational improvements, maintain equipment, and address any arising issues promptly.
Proficiency in financial management is essential as you will monitor revenue, payroll, and expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and operational targets. Collaboration with the Regional Director on cost control measures will support the financial health of your assigned locations. Communication and reporting skills are critical to this role; you will regularly provide management with updates on operational progress, challenges, and client needs, utilizing technology effectively for timely coordination.
Your ability to handle valet duties personally during peak or understaffed periods ensures smooth operations and demonstrates leadership by example. The Valet Account Manager is expected to exhibit outstanding hospitality, customer service, and communication skills, creating memorable and positive experiences for guests and fostering long-term partnerships with clients. This role demands flexibility to work varying hours, occasional travel for financial and corporate meetings, and the capacity to thrive in a work environment exposed to outdoor weather and customer-facing situations.
PMC offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, 401(k), supplemental insurance options, bonus programs, paid training, and tuition assistance among other employment advantages. The company is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity, inclusion, and compliance with all relevant employment laws. Joining PMC means becoming part of a forward-thinking organization dedicated to leadership development and high-quality service delivery within the parking management industry.
