Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary role
- Proven leadership experience in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to handle kitchen demands
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a culinary supervisory role
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently
- Experience with scheduling and performance evaluations
Job Duties
- Train all kitchen associates on job duties including plate presentation and display work
- Write schedules, evaluate and direct all kitchen personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and kitchen associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide necessary tools and equipment to kitchen staff
- Take immediate action on kitchen problems
- Participate in meetings, kitchen inventory, and MOD program
- Ensure food quality, recipe adherence, and efficient service
- Assist in establishing goals and standards for profitable operations
- Supervise kitchen staff and maintain all kitchen records
- Prepare recipe cards and picture presentations
- Ensure timely submission of payroll hours
