Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen supervisory experience
- Ability to handle and operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Culinary arts or related field education preferred
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization
- Knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
- Experience with scheduling and payroll submission
- Proficient in inventory and cost management
Job Duties
- Train kitchen associates in job duties including plate presentation and display work
- Write schedules, evaluate and direct all personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide tools and equipment needed for job performance
- Take immediate action on kitchen problems
- Participate in department and staff meetings and inventories
