Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen supervisory experience
  • Ability to handle and operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts or related field education preferred
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization
  • Knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Experience with scheduling and payroll submission
  • Proficient in inventory and cost management

Job Duties

  • Train kitchen associates in job duties including plate presentation and display work
  • Write schedules, evaluate and direct all personnel
  • Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
  • Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
  • Provide tools and equipment needed for job performance
  • Take immediate action on kitchen problems
  • Participate in department and staff meetings and inventories
