The Stewarding Operations Leader role is an essential leadership position within JPMorgan Chase's dynamic operations team. This role involves thriving in a fast-paced environment where the leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and seamless service, particularly supporting executive assistants and events managers. The person in this role acts as a driving force behind operational excellence by collaborating with multiple departments and leading the Utility team to deliver outstanding service and results every single day.

As a Utility Lead, the individual will champion efficient and flawless operations by coordinating with both Front and Back of House managers to anticipate and fulfill daily and special event requirements. This includes working proactively with various departments to ensure all necessary service items are available and ready for deployment. The Stewarding Operations Leader will direct and empower the Utility team to maintain a safe, professional, and efficient workspace while overseeing the transport of prepared foods and essential equipment that ensures smooth service delivery.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the leader is responsible for leading training initiatives, operating advanced cleaning equipment, and upholding the highest standards of team appearance and operational excellence. The role requires strict implementation and enforcement of standard operating procedures and Department of Health–compliant cleaning routines. An ongoing goal will be the proactive reduction of loss and breakage of service ware and ensuring that all food holding and transport equipment remains fully operational at all times.

Another significant aspect of this role involves scheduling and adjusting staffing levels to meet the fluctuating demands of the business. The Stewarding Operations Leader will also take responsibility for basic machine maintenance and foster a positive team culture by celebrating successes and encouraging mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members. Acting as a role model, this leader takes on additional functions as directed by the Chef and General Manager, driving operational success and elevating team performance to create exceptional client and guest experiences consistently.
