The role of Utility Steward at Hilton is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization that guests expect. As a Utility Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen and dining serviceware is spotless and ready for use, supporting seamless service during banquets and functions, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a hospitality or related environment preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • good team collaboration skills
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Keep serviceware spotless by cleaning chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils, scrub pots and pans, and burnish silver
  • monitor stock levels to ensure supplies and equipment are always well stocked and organized
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness by performing essential cleaning tasks including mopping and trash removal
  • support events delivery by preparing and setting up clean serviceware for banquets and functions
  • train and mentor team members by sharing expertise with new stewards
  • comply with regulatory standards including health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness
  • ensure the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
