This position is a Casual role with an hourly wage of $22.95, offering between 0 to 19 hours per week, making it ideal for candidates seeking flexible work schedules. The role primarily involves operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and trash compactors, and ensuring that all kitchenware, tools, and dining areas are kept in pristine condition. This is a vital function within the resort's food and beverage services, as it directly supports food safety, hygiene, and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for thorough washings and sanitizing of kitchen areas, tableware, silverware, and various equipment. They will use detergents and sanitizing chemicals in proper procedures to maintain cleanliness, sorting, soaking, washing, and re-washing items as needed to meet high sanitation standards. Additional duties include managing waste disposal by breaking down cardboard boxes, emptying trashcans, maintaining dumpster areas, and ensuring recyclables are sorted properly. Maintaining a clean environment throughout assigned departments by mopping and cleaning is also a key aspect of the role.

Beyond daily cleaning duties, this position requires adherence to company safety and security policies, usage of professional communication, and fostering positive working relationships within the team. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
