This particular position is for a Utility Cleaner at the Ritz-Carlton property located at 2121 McKinney Ave, Dallas, Texas. The role is full-time and falls under the non-management category, with an hourly pay rate of $18.25. The preferred shift for this position is the evening shift. The primary goal of the Utility Cleaner is to support vital hotel operations across multiple departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Associates in this role are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards essential to guest satisfaction and hotel operations.
Utility Cleaners play an integral role in the hotel's day-to-day functioning by ensuring that fresh linens are prepared, dining ware is spotless, and cleaning equipment is properly operated and maintained. These responsibilities include working with dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers. Utility Cleaners are also tasked with supporting the transport of dishware and linens throughout the hotel premises. The role demands physical stamina as it involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and performing movements such as bending, twisting, and stooping.
