Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle cash and operate cashier equipment
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Job Duties
- Provide member service
- Maintain the checkout area
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Promote Sam's Club products and services
- Provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology
- Process member purchases
- Assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures
- Follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps
- Follow proper procedures for handling merchandise
- Correct and report unsafe situations to facility management
- Maintain entrance areas by acknowledging members, verifying membership cards, and identifying member needs
- Assist members with purchasing decisions
- Locate merchandise
- Zone the area and arrange merchandise
- Assist members with transporting items
- Maintain a safe shopping environment
- Maintain exit areas and review member receipts
- Assist with securing and safeguarding company assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation
- Execute emergency response procedures
- Ensure compliance with security and safety practices
- Assist with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures
- Teach new technology and tool functionality
- Deliver new programs rollout training
- Provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities
- Identify shrink and damages
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
